Peace~ Freedom from disturbance; quiet and tranquility.

Psalm 23:1-3

"The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters,
He refreshes my soul.  He guides me along the right paths for His name's sake."

This passage is very well-known (Psalms 23).  I love this passage so much because it's all about the peace that God gives us.

The last couple of months, I have felt God in ways I haven't felt before in my lifetime.
From Ignition in December, to starting my devotionals on January 2, to now, I have felt Him moving in me.

And while that excites me and fills me with energy and fire, I also have an overwhelming sense of peace.

Having a relationship with God has changed my whole life.  I am in awe of God.
If I were to be by myself by the ocean, or walking through a forest, with nothing but myself and God, I would be at peace. No worries, no struggles, just me and God, walking together.

These devotionals have been a way to get peace, even with the hustle and bustle of everyday life.  And God has refreshed my soul, and continues to refresh my soul, like in verse 3.  Through these devotionals every night, I am growing closer to God and making an impact in people's lives, and like it says in verse 1, "I lack nothing."  With Him, I am full, and I want nothing more than Him.

Praising God and pleasing Him is my goal for everyday, and I pray it is yours as well.
Worshiping him and living my life for Him and feeling His love over me is what I want everyday.
I want my fire to keep burning.
Do you feel God's peace with you as well? Or do you feel as though you could use a bit more peace?
Is your goal in life to please Him and live for Him, or to work your way to the top in THIS life?

Something to think about.
